課程概述 |
The course objectives are the following:
1. Introduction the theory of preventive medicine: the philosophy and ethical basis of preventive medicine, disease screening theory, handicap rehabilitation and compression, and health promotion theory and practice
2. Introduction in methodologies in preventive medicine: clinical epidemiology methodology, health related quality of life, systematic review, outcomes evaluation, environmental and occupational exposure, and genetics role in preventive medicine
3. Introduction in preventive medicine practice: policy and health management

課程要求 |
The grade score includes the class participation and exercises (60%), final presentation (20%), final written report (20%). The topic of final written report should be selected from the class teaching, focused on an important issue in preventive medicine. Students are encouraged to apply the theory, method and practice in this course and to examine the importance of the issue, current status, and potential resolutions from students’ viewpoints. References are recommended to be listed in the final report. |
